“Storytime in the Park – Garfield has been incredibly fortunate to collaborate with the talented team from the Grand Rapids Circus Project. Sierra and her team have brought something truly special to our community—introducing kids and families to the wonder and joy of learning new and unique skills.

With their circus rig set up in Garfield Park, they’ve given children a hands-on opportunity to explore the art of aerial silks. Gently guiding the kids both physically and verbally, Sierra and her team help them flip, climb, and build confidence—one swing at a time.

They’ve also brought the fun to the ground with flow hoops, another engaging way for families to connect, laugh, and try something new together. The park was filled with smiles and laughter as kids spun and twirled the hoops.

Working with Cirque Bouclé for our annual Global Gathering has been incredibly rewarding! Founder, Sierra Hatfield, is authentic and engaging. She not only showed up fully for our event but even stepped in to help plan it. Her ability to combine her love for circus arts and her love for our community make her an incredible partner and ally.
